The function of a spray nozzle in an open tower wet scrubber is to convert bulk liquid into drops maximizing the surface area of the liquid and the chemical reaction between the lime slurry and the SO2 in the gas stream.
In numerical simulation platform,velocity field,temperature field and the distribution of turbulence intensity distribution of 45 degrees,75 degrees,-30 degrees was simulated.The results show that velocity field change of-30 degrees in angle decorated is not very violent.Range of import and export temperature of desulfurization tower is ideal.The turbulent intension at the bottom of desulfurization tower is larger and slows down with the increase of height.This arrangement is good at mixing of gas-liquid two phase flow and controlling the temperature of exports,which is in favor of efficiency of desulfurization.
